Welcome to Fearful to Fearless!
I’m Heather. Wife to a contractor, mother to 4 little monkeys, and servant of God. Above everything else my goal is for this blog to follow His leading.
You see, not that long ago I was a very fearful woman. I had lost my confidence and lost sight of where my worth is found, in God. Any time I felt the calling to try something new or put myself out there I backed away. There was clearly NO way I could succeed, so I just wouldn’t bother. Even when it was something I felt God calling me to do. Then God did something. He called me to be fearless! To follow him, even when I wasn’t sure how I could succeed. So I jumped in and started this blog. Much like Moses I had to get past my fears to do as the Lord was asking.
Exodus 4:10-12New Living Translation (NLT)
10 But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”
11 Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.”
What will you find here?
The short answer is a number of things.
The long answer is there will be parenting thoughts, words of encouragement, homeschooling adventures, recipes, product reviews (both food and non-food) and any other thing that God calls me to share.
